ITFA is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the “Guidelines on structure and content for CRR compliant non-payment insurance policies” at the ITFA Annual Conference which is being held in Warsaw between 7-9 September. For more conference details please click here.
Mitigating risks related to transactions through insurance in compliance with regulatory requirements is a useful way to manage risk but also raises many questions for our bank members. A survey carried out by the ITFA insurance committee at the end of last year clearly showed that our members wished to obtain guidance from ITFA on this topic. Therefore, a panel of experts from the ITFA insurance committee have drafted the “Guidelines on structure and content for CRR compliant non-payment insurance policies”. Sullivan & Worcester UK LLP provided legal advice to the drafting group. The Guidelines particularly address the effect of the UK Insurance 2015 which comes into effect on 12 August 2016.
The Guidelines will be presented to the ITFA membership at the Annual Conference in Warsaw during the insurance panel on Friday 9 September, 2016. The panel will be pleased to answer your questions concerning the Guidelines. For all ITFA members, the Guidelines are already available on our ITFA website in the members section – please follow the link.
We look forward to seeing you all in Warsaw for interesting discussions on this topic.
