The ITFA Young Professionals initiative is delighted to announce its end of year event, which will take place on Thursday 29 November and will consist of an educational seminar and a networking session targeted at our ITFA Young Professionals community.
The educational seminar will be hosted by Barclays at its 1 Churchill Place office, and will run between 5.30pm and 7.00pm. The main topic will be announced later this week, but the format will follow our traditional Young Professionals seminar flow, with a presentation by Barclays on a contemporary topic in trade finance (presented by both senior and young professionals from the Barclays team), and with a young professionals-focused panel, moderated by Pouya Jafari from the ITFA Young Professionals Advisory Panel, which will touch on relevant career-focused topics affecting existing and aspiring young professionals in the trade finance industry.
Once the seminar comes to a close, the evening will then move to the Xi Bar, at the Guoman Tower Bridge Hotel (St Katharine’s Way, London E1W 1LD), for the Young Professionals end of year networking drinks, which will start at 7.30pm and will run until late.
This event is targeted at Young Professionals, and is part of ITFA’s drive to empower the new generations of trade financiers, which have a crucial role to play and have been doing a great job energising our industry.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, so please do register as soon as possible. Please note that registration is necessary even if you only wish to attend the networking drinks.
Would ITFA Young Professionals please RSVP to Alexia Vella, alexiavella@logixtest.com as soon as possible and confirm their attendance. Would our members’ main delegates receiving this email also kindly disseminate this email through their organisation’s Young Professionals.
Look forward to seeing as many ITFA Young Professionals as possible on the 29th November.
