As part of its on-going commitment to the future growth of trade markets, and to developing the next generation of trade financiers & forfaiters, the ITFA Board has set up a designated Young Professionals Network to support and foster the professional progress of colleagues who are considering or have just embarked on a career in trade finance. The initiative focuses particularly on the development of a strong cross-border network amongst the Young Professionals to allow for an active exchange of knowledge and ideas that might be particularly valuable at an early stage in individuals’ careers.

ITFA will arrange for specific educational events targeted at Young Professionals to address the enhancement of the technical knowledge and skills which are required from day one. This combined approach of offering a forum for networking with the opportunity for practical development will be boosted by organising mentoring groups to drive the knowledge exchange between the Young Professionals and experienced industry members, and will give the ‘Youngsters’ the unique opportunity to gain important insights from senior colleagues.
