Highlights of the ITFA Trade Finance Educational Seminar, Cape Town – 3-4 September 2018

ITFA is again running its annual Educational Seminar on Trade Finance, in Cape Town on 3-4 September.  The Seminar will be held at the offices of Rand Merchant Bank, Portside, 5 Buitengracht Street, Cape Town and will take place on the afternoon on Monday 3rd September and the morning on Tuesday 4th September 2018.

The seminar is a great opportunity for all participants to learn more about the origination, distribution and risk mitigation of trade receivables, payables and supply chain finance as well as related techniques, both new and old,  from current practitioners with a combined experience in  excess of 80 years in the business and provides a venue to meet and network with like-minded individuals. This seminar is about a lot more than just the theory – although this is covered – and is firmly rooted in real-life practice and knowledge.

We anticipate that the seminar will be helpful both to those new in the industry and those who already have been working for some time but want to get up-to-date with recent developments. It will appeal to those in trade finance, whether they be in sales, relationship management, operations, as well as to insurers, accountants, lawyers or anyone in a related activity who wants to understand trade finance.
